Ken Leach collection of manuscripts, 1762-1795.

Assorted manuscripts related to Connecticut. The collection consists of a guardianship statement of Martin Kirtland of Saybrook, 1762; an order of payment sent to state treasurer Lawrence for reimbursement of caring for transient people in New Haven, 1772; a tax abatement in Killingworth, 1779; the selectmen's order to Ichabod Stoddard to inspect, maintain and repair part of the highway in Groton, 1780; an order to state treasurer Lawrence to pay Eleazar Wells out of money collected from confiscated estates, 1782; a letter to the merchants of Simsbury, 1790 to join a meeting of all merchants in Middletown; a receipt signed by Peter Colt for money from Andrew Kingsbury, one of the Commissioners to Review College Grants, 1793; and two letters to William Dana of Wethersfield from his siblings Anna and Jedidiah, 1795, in Lebanon.
